The traditional 28cm cast iron frying pan with a long wooden handle must not be missing from any kitchen. The varied and timeless colour palette is everything you could ask for and suits any decorating style. The material is ideal for quick, crisp frying, as it gets really hot. Cast iron is an ideal heat store and heat distributor. Once heated up, cast iron remains hot for a very long time. This means that you don’t have to fry food at high temperatures. You can still achieve great frying results at medium or low temperatures. Heat sources can also be changed at any point during cooking. The special black interior enamelling ensures that only a little fat is needed when frying and that cleaning is made easier. The frying pan has a flat rim, a large frying surface and is ideal for searing meat, fish, vegetables, desserts, but also for golden-brown Kaiserschmarrn. The wooden side handle remains holdable without an oven cloth when cooking and a practical second handle makes handling easier. The frying pan is easy to clean. The black enamelled interior forms a so-called patina over time. This patina helps to improve frying results and should not be removed. For this reason, we don’t recommend washing the pan with harsh cleaning agents or putting it in the dishwasher. It’s better to just rinse it off with hot water. Colour: Oven Red
