Simply more flexible cooking: the induction hob allows optimal use of space with minimal energy consumption when cooking. It combines technical innovation with a luxurious look and brings a new shine to the kitchen counter with its glass-ceramic surface. Two cooking surfaces for enjoyment are offered by the built-in hob with a total power of a maximum of 3500 watts, which are distributed to the individual cooking surfaces with 1 x 2000 and 1 x 1500 watts and bring the contents of pots and pans to the boil at peak times. The two cooking zones are combined into one flex zone by means of VarioHeating. The power of both individual zones can be regulated separately and they have a ThermoBoost function which increases the power to up to 2800 watts for rapid heating. The glass-ceramic hob is easy to operate with an integrated sensor touch control panel and digital display. This means that neither knobs nor controls break through the surface of the kitchen unit. In addition to the power, a shut-off timer of up to 99 minutes can be programmed for each cooktop. To ensure that everything runs smoothly while cooking, the induction cooktop has a wide variety of fuses: An overheating protection with an automatic switch-off becomes active should a hob become too hot. A residual heat indicator based on the EcoThermal Control principle not only informs you whether cooking surfaces that have been switched off are still hot. It also enables cooking with residual heat to save energy. The ThermalRecall function remembers the set temperature and is used when the cooking process is briefly interrupted and is to be continued later. In addition, a child lock can be activated to prevent accidental changes to the cooking settings. Visually, the induction hob impresses with its easy-care and elegant glass-ceramic surface: this means that the hob fits effortlessly into any kitchen unit - whether classic or modern.
