This hot plate allows optimal use of space for minimal energy consumption while cooking. Combining technical innovation with luxury design, it brings a new sparkle to kitchen units with its glass-ceramic surface. The built-in hob offers three cooking surfaces with a total output of up to 5800W, distributed over the individual cooking surfaces at 2300, 2000 and 1500W, bringing the contents of pots and pans to the boil at peak times. A particularly practical feature is the extra large paella zone, where of course not only extra large fried dishes can be prepared, but also the chilli pot for the next house party, or the casserole pot. Thanks to pot detection, the hotplates adapt to the size of the pots, pans or casseroles placed on them with maximum flexibility. This means you only use the energy required for the pot, and you can use almost any size of pot or pan. The output for all zones can be regulated separately. This is done quite easily with the glass ceramic hob using an integrated SenseControl touch panel with digital display and touch-to-slide controller for output control. This gives kitchen surfaces a seamless finish, without any buttons or knobs. As well as the output, a programmable timer can be set for up to 99 minutes for each burner, and either switches off the hotplate at the end of the set time or sounds an audible signal. To make sure everything runs smoothly during cooking, the hotplate has various safety features. Overheat protection with automatic shut-off is activated if a cooking surface becomes too hot. A residual heat display with the EcoThermal Control system shows whether cooking surfaces are still hot after being switched off. It also enables cooking with residual heat to save energy. The practical ThermalRecall function remembers the set temperature and is used if the cooking process is interrupted for a short time and then continued later. A child lock can also be activated to prevent accidental changes to the cooking settings.
