The Galatia Extendable Dining Table features 2 loose inserts which safely store inside the table, the table top is opened with a reciprocal action mechanism making for easy opening by one person. The extension leaves can be used individually or as a pair to offer additional seating. The table can easily fit 2 (1400) / 3 (1900) between the legs without being extended when fully extended with both leaves it will comfortably seat an additional person on the outside of the leg. This table can seat from 6 - 10 (1400) / 8 - 12 (1900) people, making this table the perfect kitchen or dinner table while also ensuring you can accommodate extra family and friends on those special occasions. The table top is manufactured from a clean grade of solid oak which has been carefully hand-selected to showcase the natural characteristics and character that oak is famous for while ensuring each table is unique in appearance. The legs are simply attached to the solid skirts with 2 Allen key bolts, ensuring this is easy to assemble the item. The Galatia collection is a country cottage inspired painted collection, with many other pieces available in the range all constructed using traditional craftsman techniques including dovetail joints, and mortise and tenon joints. All units are manufactured from solid hardwoods and hardwood plywood’s to ensure maximum stability and to remove any risk of knotting or sap staining commonly found in softwood based products.
