This simmer pot works according to the water bath principle. Filled into the existing cavity of the pot (double wall) via the filler neck and heated. As soon as the water in the cavity boils, the fluted valve placed on the filler neck starts to whistle. Now the temperature of the hotplate is reduced to prevent e.g. milk from boiling over and burning. The pot is also ideal for melting chocolate.
